At Premier Veterinary Hospital, you can expect state-of-the-art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond, and from the moment you arrive you will be greeted by a courteous client care team, clean and comfortable exam rooms, friendly veterinarians, and caring technicians.
During your pet’s first appointment, our veterinarian will review their history, perform a complete nose-to-tail wellness exam, and discuss vaccines, parasite prevention, nutrition, and dental health. If your pet has a specific concern, we may recommend diagnostic testing, much of which can be performed in-house for same-day results.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
- Complete the new client registration form below before your visit
- Bring previous vaccination and medical records, or have your former clinic send them to us
- Bring a list of current medications, supplements, and the food your pet eats
- Bring a fresh stool sample if possible for parasite screening
- Keep dogs on a leash and cats in a secure carrier

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new dogs and cats from Tyler and throughout East Texas.
How do I register as a new client?

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring prior medical and vaccination records, a list of medications and diet, a fresh stool sample if possible, and your pet on a leash or in a carrier.
Can my previous veterinarian send my pet’s records?
Yes. Ask your previous clinic to email or fax records to us before your visit so our veterinarians can review them.
How long does a first visit take?
Plan for about 30 to 45 minutes so we can complete a thorough exam and answer your questions.
Do you offer a new client special?
Specials change from time to time. Check the offers on this page or call us for current promotions.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, as well as CareCredit, Scratchpay, and Cherry payment plans. We do not accept checks.
