Ashley Hogue, DVM

Dr. Hogue opened PREMIER Veterinary Hospital to care for pets that so greatly enrich our lives. She is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical Science and a Master Degree in Epidemiology, both from Texas A&M University. She enjoys emergency and critical care medicine and practices in the DFW area on the weekends. She has an interest in pain management, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Hogue is proud to offer Tyler, TX with the excellence of care in veterinary medicine.

Rebecca Beasley, DVM

Dr. Rebecca Beasley is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She served 4 1/2 years in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps and served one year in Afghanistan taking care of military and contract working animals. She has spent the last six years in small and mixed animal practice. She has a particular interest in preventive medicine and owner education.

 


Lisa, Veterinary Technician, CVA Level II

Lisa was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas. She joined the United States Marine Corps right out of high school and served for 5 years. After that, she received her bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management but quickly realized her heart belonged in animal care. She has two German Shepherds training as cadaver dogs. She also loves spending time with her family, playing bass, and riding dirt bikes. When your fur baby is in my care, they are family to me.

 


Maryssa, Kennel Technician

Maryssa is a Tyler native who is currently in college pursuing her lifetime goal of becoming a veterinarian. She has many fur babies of her own, including two dogs, four guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon.

 


Amir, Veterinary Technician

I was born in Miami Florida and moved to Tyler at the age of four. I have been a veterinary technician for 15 years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Louisiana State University. I have 2 dogs, Cooper & Jasper & a cat named Amanda. I enjoy watching football, spending time with my family & friends, & working on cars. My true love and passion in life is veterinary medicine and helping animals.

 


Tera, Office Administrator, CVA Level I

Tera was born in the greater Houston area and grew up in Austin, TX. Tera attended Baylor University and the University of Texas at Austin. In her free time she enjoys cooking, playing music and spending time with family and friends. She has 3 fur babies, a chihuahua named Yoda, a Yorkie mix named Louie, & a schnauzer mix named Luna.

 


Becca, Client Care Specialist

Becca grew up in Waco, TX but spent most of her 20s in Colorado. She recently moved back to be closer to her family, which is the most important thing to her. When she isn’t spending time with friends and family, you can find her at home watching a crime-solving show with her 3 fur babies Kit, Dottie, and Lulu.

 


Jose, Lead Technician

Jose moved to the East Texas area with his family at the age of 6. He graduated high school from Mabank, Texas in 2013. He has been involved with four-legged creatures from a very young age, as his mother is Co-President of Straydog, Inc. He currently lives in Mabank with his wife, Harley, and two fur babies, Moxie, a Golden Retriever, and Natty, a Catahoula mix. In his spare time, he enjoys being around family, grilling, and watching Dallas Cowboys football.

 


Cali, Kennel Technician

Cali was born and raised in East Texas. She grew up living on a farm and has always been around animals. Cali has wanted to work in veterinary medicine her entire life and couldn’t see herself doing anything different. She is currently going to Tyler Junior College for basic courses and will be attending SFA for animal science and pre-vet courses to further her studies in the field. Even though she is very busy with school and work you can find Cali spending her free time with her dog Odin, a black lab mix, and her cat Bo Jack, a marble tabby. She also enjoys painting, reading, riding horses, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.


Haileigh, Groomer

Haileigh is originally from Hallsville, TX. She is a 23-year-old pet stylist and groomer, with an impressive five years of experience in her field. Not only is she passionate about grooming, but she is also a TICA registered Sphynx breeder and entirely captivated by the unique breed. Despite these cats not needing a haircut, Haileigh still playfully insists they still deserve their pampering days! In her role at Premier Veterinary Hospital, Haileigh is committed to providing an individualized grooming experience, tailored to each pet’s unique personality. She spends her busy days fostering lasting relationships with her clients and their furry family members, and caring for her cherished sphynx cats. The warmth and dedication Haileigh brings to her work creates a welcoming environment for all who meet her!


Kaylee, Animal and Hospital Care

Kaylee was born in Tyler, Texas. She graduated from Chapell Hill ISD and participated in FFA all four years of high school. At the moment, she is pursuing a certification and license in real estate but has always been an avid animal lover. In her free time, she enjoys playing the ukelele, spending time with friends and family, reading, and going to the gym.
